Norway Spruce — (Picea Abies)

The Norway spruce is the fastest growing of the spruces, reaching heights up to 60 ft, this tree is easy to transplant and can be planted in a wide variety of sites. It works well for noise and windbreaks, as well as privacy screens.

It grows in a pyramidal shape but can begin to look a little unkempt in its older age. It is also the most disease-resistant spruce and is affected by very few insects, but none that are serious. It grows best in hardiness zones 3-7 and enjoys full sun.
